Abbreviations Explained

The Catalog lists by make are arranged in sections as described below:

NOTE:  The column titled "QTY" is "QUANTITY ON HAND"

ACCRY for Accessories - Covers original accessory items.

AIR COND. for Air Conditioning - Air conditioning components except switches.  See switches section for air conditioning/heater related switches.

BEARINGS - Includes all engine, wheel and other bearings.

BELTS - Underhood drive belts.

BODY - Body parts except see the Lights, Moldings and Weatherstrip section for those items.  We recently created.

BRAKES - Brake related parts.

CLOCKS - Clocks and related parts.

CLUTCH -  Clutch related components.

CONVERTIBLE - Convertible only parts and supplies.  Convertible weatherstrip and switches are in the respective section and not the convertible section.   

COOLING - Cooling related components.

DIFFERENTIAL - Differential parts

ELECTRICAL - Electrical parts.  See the switches section for switches. 

ENGINE - Engine parts.  Also see the pistons section for engine pistons and rings.  Gaskets are in the Gasket section. 

FILTERS - Filter related items. 

FUEL - Pumps, carbs and related items.  See Gauges for tank senders.  

GASKETS - All gaskets types. 

GAUGES - All related parts including fuel gauge tank senders.

INTERIOR - This is a new category and some interior items are still listed under body.

LIGHTS - This is a new section that includes lenses and other light parts.  Some may still be listed in the body section.  See switches section for light switches.

LITERATURE- Shop manuals, parts books and sales brochures are included.

MIRRORS - Exterior and interior mirrors and parts 

MLDGS for Moldings - exterior moldings.

MOUNTS - Engine and transmission mounts.

PAINT - Engine, chassis and some body.

PISTONS - Engine pistons and rings. 

POWER STEERING - Power steering related parts.

RADIO - Radio related items.

SEALS - Engine, wheel and etc. 

SPEEDO - Speedometer items.

SUSPENSION - Ball joints, kingpins, tie rod ends, idler arms, pitman arms and other chassis, steering and suspension related items.

SWITCHES - All types of electrical switches are included.

TRANS - Transmission parts except for those in the bearings, seals, mounts and gaskets sections. 

U-JOINTS - all related items.

W’STRIP for Weatherstrip - All weatherstrip items including convertible only weatherstrip.

WHEELS - Wheels, wheelcovers and associated hardware.

WIPERS - blades, arms, motors.  See switches section for wiper switches.
